On behalf of the board members and myself, I would like to welcome you and introduce you to the Banks’ Association website in Palestine, hoping it lives up to your expectations.

Since its foundation in 1998, the Banks’ Association was keen on nurturing the banks’ interests and coordinating among them for the sake of achieving common interests, in addition to working on developing performance techniques for banking services, and consolidating business concepts and customs.

Recognizing the importance of the role of banking sector in the economic development and the necessity of its positive and effective participation, the Association is keen on collaborating with various sectors in the state of Palestine in order to promote this role through mobilizing savings and providing the required funds for various social strata.

We are indicating here to the instrumental role banks are conducting through their continuous activities and events, in the context of their meaningful social responsibility to serve the society and its components, thus making banks an important input not only for economic development, but for social development in Palestine.
