The association aims to achieve the following:

• Working with the concerned authorities to develop the regulations and promulgate the legislations to develop the banking profession, in addition to expressing opinions regarding the projects and laws pertaining to financial and banking affairs.
• Planning, organize and implement the necessary mobilization, and influence actions with local, regional, and international authorities.
• Holding educational seminars and lectures, as well as training courses about banking and economic issues.
• Completing and developing the organizational and institutional structure of the association, and providing an appropriate work environment.
• Preparing studies and research in the banking business and assisting member banks to build competitive and sustainable businesses.
